Matthew Chun is the Chief Operating Officer for Becton Property Group Limited (COO) and the Head of Funds Management for Becton Investment Management Limited (HOFM).

In his capacity as COO Matthew is responsible for maximizing profit from each of the three operating business by leveraging Becton's internal property expertise and maximising efficiency via integration of processes and functions across all three businesses.

The head of each business unit reports to Matthew.

In addition to his COO role Matthew is also the Head of Funds Management and has overall responsibility for the performance of the Funds Management business.

Matthew has spent the last 18 years working in various facets of the property industry including senior positions at Coles Myer and Cbus Industry Super Fund and running his own consultancy business immediately prior to joining Becton.

Matthew has considerable experience and expertise in the ownership and development of property in the retail, office, industrial, residential and hotel sectors.

In 2002 Matthew was awarded the Young Property Achiever of the Year award by the Australian Property Institute for his outstanding contribution to the property industry.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Economics, Graduate Diploma in Property and Graduate Diploma in Applied Investment and Finance.

Matthew is also a licensed Real Estate Agent, an Associate of the Financial Services Institute of Australia and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
